Hello there I'm back.

I know, I know, it's been a long time since I've been here but a lot of things have caused that, such as study, I always seemed to be just that bit behind with my reading and assignment preps that I felt I didn't have much time for anything else.  Then we had some paranormal issues, now you may or may not believe in that sort of thing but believe me it's out there.

Then we went away for 2-3 weeks and on our return I developed pneumonia - just what I didn't need!  Anyway, I tried a couple of weeks ago to get caught up with my blogs but all the coughing made me tired and not feeling very well, so intending to be back the next day or so, well that didn't happen.

Now, feeling I have caught up (says she cautiously) with my reading for my next assignment and I'm about to start writing, I felt I have a bit of time to write on my blogs and because I have three I had better get cracking.

I was going to write something about travelling, more importantly travelling on a very, very small budget.  Why, because over out 3 weeks away, that's what we did.  Our first stop was outside Sydney, then on to Port Macquarie and then into Sydney - Darling Harbour.

I have done a fair bit of travelling overseas and I have my favourite places/countries but I now like to see some of Australia and the best way to do that, I find, is by car.  Mainly because trains and planes are costly and do not always get you to where you want to go.

Whether you tow a caravan, use a tent, stay a night or two in motels/hotels, or you have one of those huge motorhomes, there are many places within a day or two's drive you can go to chill out for a few days or as long as you wish.

If you are looking go further afield, for example Perth or Darwin or simply more than one or two days drive away, you then have to consider whether it is worth your while costwise and timewise to drive or take a train or plane.  Trains such as The Ghan (Adelaide, capital of South Australia to Darwin, capital of the Northern Territory), Indian Pacific (Sydney-Perth) takes you across the Australian continent, several others you might like to explore can be found here  These trains take you to and through some amazing country.

Planes on the other hand might get you to your destination faster but the only scenery you get is air and clouds, yes, you get an aerial view of the country which in itself can be an amazing sight but  you then have to hire a vehicle to see some of the country around your destination or pay for expensive tours.

But, however you like to travel, you can always go somewhere different or see something different even if you go to the same place each year.  There are always things you didn’t get to see or do, or new things have sprung up since your last visit.

So, what has all this to do with scrapbooking, you ask? Well, this is just to get you thinking about your travels or holidays whichever way you like to put it and hopefully, get you to add your experiences or ideas, and to take great photos to scrapbook on your return.  For that of course you  will need some of the beautiful papers, embellishments and stickers from Creative Memories!

You might even like to make cards with some of your photos using Creative Memories card kits, wouldn't that be fun!

I will be scrapbooking my Darling Harbour photos later this year when my MBA is finally done and dusted, with luck that will be end of October! Yey!  I might even get to hold a Croptoberfest event and get them done that way.  In the meantime I will do my best to drop in more often and not leave it so long between posts.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your comments.
Cheers for now.

Hi foks,

I can't believe it has been so long, but time flies when you're having fun, so they say, and even if you're not!

Where have I been, I was asked recently.  I haven't been on Facebook, I haven't done much in the way of scrapbooking so what am I doing here?  Well, I'm studying which takes up a lot of time.

Anyway, I thought I would drop in and say 'hi' to you all and give you some of updates of new products.

With Croptoberfest coming up fast, and Christmas around the corner CM are bringing out some lovely kits: scrapbooking kits and card kits to help you make your own lovely Christmas cards to send.  I will share these with you next week, until then you can check out my site  for all the current goodies.

There are templates if you're not so sure of how to go about setting up your pages, also there are pocket pages which you can use for your photos and journaling.

You can have one big 12x12 pocket for a full scrapbook page or you can have the smaller pockets that you can use with slide-in cards and photos, a world of choices and ways to do things.

If you still need help or suggestions contact me and I will help you along your scrapbooking path.

Until next week. Happy scrapping!

Winter in the wings!

Hi there,

Well, it seems I missed spring and summer!?  That is not to say that I wasn't doing anything since my last post.  I was making cards and scrapbooking and on holiday on and off over December and January.  Also, even after three and half years, trying to get unpacked and getting rid of unwanted "stuff" I still have heaps to toss.  I have got rid of a great deal of clothing which was trying to "drown/bury" me, and I still have plenty to give away to charity, but I can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

Anyway, back to Creative Memories.  Trying to set up a regular workshop and finding people to attend is not at all easy, I never expected it to be but you'd think there would be at least a handful who would be interested.

So, I am again holding National Scrapbook Day (NSD) on Saturday, 5th of May 2018 to get you all interested, inspired and attend my workshop.  I have put a flyer on Facebook but I have extended the deadline to Friday, 6th April.

Some other relevant information is that we have heaps of good stuff to give away to new Advisors, so this is a great time for you to join me and my team to get your freebies.  You like freebies don't you?  I sure do so what's to stop you from joining me, check out this link and see if we can whet your appetite.

The latest catalogue can be found here and you can check out the latest new products here which also includes the latest new products.

Well, I think I've given you enough to mull over so, until next time.  Cheers, thanks for reading.

New papers and things!

Hi folks,

I haven't been here for a while but I've been busy getting things ready for Croptoberfest, making cards and other scrapbooking challenges.

You may (or may not) have seen my Virtual Crop participation on Facebook in September, my goodness it seems so long ago.  In case you missed them I will include a couple here but my main purpose today is to let you know of all the new products which have been released since my last post.

First of all the lovely "Countryside Comfort" and "Sugarplum" papers, embellishments, washi tape for Halloween,  and the related mat packs as well.  Gorgeous papers I aim to get them all, if not physically then digitally.  Simply gorgeous both sets.  Then there are the albums, punches and border maker cartridges etc.

It's hard to keep up with all the great new products coming out. Plus the gifts for those joining Creative Memories, wow! While you're joining up, why not use your bonus and order some (or all) of the new products  released in September/October.  I'm sure you'll love them.
I have included some fliers for you. Have a look, join me and get scrapbooking!

I have also attached a copy of the new catalogue ISSU.

You can find the new September products here browse through and download so you can pick out all the goodies you like.

Here are the October new products for you to browse through.  Have fun and come and join me.

Now, I did promise some photos of my Virtual Crop participation. So here are three of my efforts.  The first one is my winner, I won a Croptoberfest kit for this card.  The next one is my favourite scrapbook layout, not sure why but it seems to have a lot of life in it.  Thank you for looking and I'll see you next time.

Creative Memories cards and other things

Hello there,

It has been a while since my last posting but rest assured I haven't been slacking.  I have been making cards and also together with my partner, attended a crop and connect event in Camden mid-August hosted by Kaz Fox, I will post these at a later date because I have yet to take a photo of our achievements there.

Below are some of the cards I've made, these were the only ones that had any Creative Memories products/influence on them.  I have so many different papers so I have to use them for non-Creative Memories projects.

The first one is all Creative Memories with the exception of the sentiment stamp of course, and I have actually inked the edges of the papers.  The second one has the CM flowers and again all CM with the exception of the sentiment.  Number three has CM Flowers and two small strips of CM papers beside each flower group.

All three cards were made for the Splitcoaststampers Wednesday Card Sketch challenges.

Now to other business.  There are some great new items coming - some new border markers, one border maker cartridge and a stand alone border punch, not to mention some lovely papers and albums as well.  To give my customers a sneak peak here is the link to our  "What's New" flier so you can get organised and order quickly.

Do you love getting free gifts?

Hi there,

Whatever and however you want to arrange your memories, and you don't need just photos, you have all sorts of memories whether they are pictures in your mind or actual physical photos, you can add them all to your special albums.  How do you add the pictures in your mind to the albums, well that's a topic I'll talk about some other time. But when you check out the different albums you will soon understand what I mean.

And what better way, than a free gift to help you on your way to organising all your lovely memories and bring them to light.   So, I'm sure you would love a mystery pack worth $75.50 wouldn't you?  Well, you have a few more days to put your order in.  Check out the flyer below and order now.

While you're there why not consider joining, and get more freebies when you place your August order - See the flyer below. The freedom of being your own boss and working what hours you want and having fun at the same time are definitely attractive.

Also, knowing that you are helping others to get their photos and memories organised, because while you are organising yours, you are showing others how they can organise theirs.  With special albums for different themes, children's lives presented in lovely albums arranged by colours for a range of years perhaps.  The pre-designed albums and pocket pages, as well as the, what I call "free range" albums, give you a wonderful array of ways to present your memories.  Whether you want to show them off or just for your family and friends to enjoy, there a many ways to protect your memories.  So while you're placing your order consider becoming an Advisor and get a discount on your very first order.  Now that sounds great doesn't it?  Love to see you.

Well, that's enough for now.  I'll be back later.
